From our comprehensive, nature-based ECE program, to homesteading, each program is crafted to foster essential developmental areas and empower minds.

We believe early childhood education is the bedrock of lifelong learning. Our programs blend Reggio and Montessori philosophies, Applied Behavioral Analysis principles, and research-backed benefits of gardening and animal interactions for preschoolers and beyond.

Early Childhood Education Programs

Early Childhood A Foundation for Lifelong Learning

Our Early Childhood Education Inclusive Programs are a blend of structured learning and free exploration. We focus on fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence through activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in a nature-inspired environment.

Preschool Curriculum

Our toddler and preschool curriculum is in alignment with California Early Learning.  Each month we provide theme lessons. Throughout the day learning takes place through play and table time. Weekly lessons focus on specific letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Student goals are based on age and individual needs.

Enrollment

Holidays and Breaks

We follow the federal bank holiday schedule, ensuring a balanced calendar for rest and learning. Please mark your calendars for the following holiday breaks:

Seedlings 2-3 years

Sprouts 3-5 years

Before School Care:  Mon – Fri, 7:30 am – 8 am

After School Care: Mon-Fri, Until 5:30 pm

Ages: Pre-K- 3rd Grade

Before & After School Care

Engaging Minds Beyond the Classroom

Safe, Fun, and Enriching Activities for Before and After School Hours

Our Before & After-School care program provides a welcoming space where children can unwind, explore new interests, and continue learning in a farm-inspired environment. We offer a range of activities to suit various interests, ensuring every child finds something they enjoy. Available all year, our program also includes before-school care for added convenience.

Children in this program will enjoy hands-on experiences such as cooking classes, arts and crafts, gardening, and tending to farm animals. They’ll learn about food sources, animal care, and explore the fascinating world of bugs, their life cycles, and ecosystems. 

Schedule: Every Friday, 11:30 am – 4:30 pm

Ages: 2 yrs – 8 years old

Community Services and Donations

What age groups do you serve at Tolenas Farms Academy?

We offer programs for children ranging from 2 years old (pre K) to 3rd grade or 8 years old, including toddlers, preschool, after-school care, and seasonal camps. Each program is tailored to meet the developmental needs of specific age groups.

Yes, we do offer a sibling discount. To support families with multiple children, we provide a 5% discount on tuition for each additional sibling enrolled in our programs.

Yes, we offer healthy and nutritious snacks and meals for our full-day programs, and snacks for part-time students. We prioritize locally sourced, organic options that support our commitment to healthy living and sustainability.

We take safety very seriously and have implemented several measures to ensure a secure environment for your children. Our property is fenced around the river and features a non-climbable iron gate between our grounds and the creek. Children are never allowed near animals without adult supervision, and we enforce hand washing before and after handling animals. Additionally, our rooms are child-proofed to further enhance safety. Teachers are CPR and First Aid Certified and our sick policy is to ensure the safety of others.
